Design

Sidi Abdellah Cancerology Center was designed in 2013 according to the EuroCancer 2020 standards, which focus on four elements:

Arranging all the medical departments on the first floor

To avoid stairs which can be challenging for often tired patients.

Natural light and greenery

The Center is illuminated by natural light from numerous patios and bay windows, offering a restful view of the surrounding countryside.

The design

We pay high attention to comfort and decoration: very comfortable armchairs equip the waiting areas, and numerous artworks by Algerian painters are displayed on the walls.

Respect the time, Privacy and dignity of patients

At the reception desk, in the waiting room and during treatment.

Infrastructure

The Center is located on an 11 000 m² plot of land.

It is deployed on two levels: medical and technical-administrative. Each level is accessible from the outside

The visitors can benefit from a cafeteria

Car parking is also available (two parking lots: 30 and 150 spots respectively)

Training of the staff

Our oncologists and physicians have received theoretical and practical training in the USA, France and Switzerland to master this new technology.

The technicians have completed their training in France or Switzerland.

The reception staff has been receiving training for two years from a Carnegie-certified coaching firm.

IT unit

The CSAC is equipped with a data center and management software.

This helps to keep each patient's file available to the medical staff.

Medical organization

It was designed to offer our patients the best conditions for moving, orientation and waiting.

Radiotherapy department

It consists of 05 units :

External radiotherapy by TOMOTHERAPY
Internal radiotherapy by CURIETHERAPY
Scanner (performed by manipulators)
Contouring or simulation (performed by radiotherapist)
Dosimetry (performed by a doctor)
Consultation (provided by radiotherapist-oncologists)

Arrangements

The service is arranged to offer maximal comfort and intimacy to the patients. After the reception area, wide, well-lit corridors with patios and bay windows lead to the waiting areas and dressing rooms, which are located across from the door to the treatment room and adjacent to the six consultation offices for patients undergoing treatment.

CHEMOTHERAPY department

The department is provided with:

A numerical radiology table
A clean room with 02 laminar flow hoods for aseptic preparation of drugs for cures.
A very strict control system is applied to avoid errors in the recipients of the preparations.
A Drug Store

Consultations

The department is provided with 02 consultation cabinets to assess the patient’s health before the cure.

Amenities

The department provides 11 rooms and 02 highly comfortable armchairs with remote TV and a nearby toilet block. These are the best conditions to respect discretion, Privacy and comfort.
